This is the dream I woke up from this morning: I was talking with my friend Philly, who is also (for real) a new parent to a baby boy who is Olive's age. Philly held on his hand a terry cloth puppet of some woodland creature, let's say fox, it doesn't matter. Philly studied the puppet for a minute and told me, "Yea, he really seems to enjoy this puppet. I'm glad I bought it."
I responded, "You never regret a puppet."
Then I woke up.
I believe it's the finest thing I've ever said.
